The Brothers’ Lot: Bloomsday Interview on East Coast FM June 16

The Brothers' Lot from No Exit Press

On the morning after the Dublin launch of The Brothers’ Lot at The Gutter Bookshop, after a painfully early though delightfully sunlight DART trip along the coast from Clontarf to Bray, passing Sandycove and environs, I performed my initial Bloomsday observances by walking on the beach, skipping some stones in the Irish Sea and nodding to the house at the end of the promenade where the Parnell argument from Mr. Joyce’s A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man is alleged to have taken place.

Thence in hansom cab to the studios of East Coast FM where I had a radio interview with Declan Meehan.  You can hear it at the following link:

i) Scroll down.  ii) Launch the Player for the 9am hour.  iii) Put the kettle on.  iv) When the thing has buffered, click on the grey status bar and start listening at 46:56
